Bilateral relations between Pakistan and Thailand moving in upwards direction. Shazia Marri

 Ms Shazia Marri, Federal Minister for Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety & Chairperson Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) has said that biteral relation between Pakistan and Thailand are moving in upward trajectory.

She said in her speech on the occasion 95th National Day of the Kingdom of Thailand where she participated as chief guest in Islamabad on Friday.

While addressing the diplomatic community present  on the occasion she noted that bilateral relations are marked with cooperation and convergence of perspectives on multitude of regional and multilateral issues.  She said that 110% increase in bilateral trade between the two countries is a clear indication that they enjoy good and cordial relationship.

She highlighted the cultural and historical similarities of the both counties and emphasised that like Thailand Pakistan also supports and promotes multilateralism and regional cooperation.

She also stressed upon the importance of people to people contact to further  boost the bilateral relations between two countries.
