Islamabad, [July 6, 2023] - The Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) continues its commitment to socio-economic upliftment through the successful disbursement of over rupees 55 billion among more than 6.1 million beneficiary women under the Benazir Kafaalat program. This substantial financial support aims to empower vulnerable families and ensure their financial well-being.
Under the Benazir Kafaalat program, 9 million registered beneficiary families are entitled to receive a quarterly instalment of Rs 9,000 per family.
In addition to the Benazir Kafaalat disbursements, Benazir educational scholarships are being provided to the children of registered families. It is important to note that a minimum attendance of 70% in school is mandatory to qualify for the educational scholarships, reinforcing the government's focus on promoting education.
BISP encourages beneficiaries to reach out to their nearest BISP Tehsil Offices or contact the toll-free helpline number 080026477 for any complaints or queries.
