Governor Sindh disburses cheques of Ehsaas Undergraduate Scholarship among 145 engineers of tomorrow

August 14, 2020 - Karachi: On the occasion of 74th Independence Day of Pakistan, Governor Sindh Imran Ismail awarded scholarships to students of Dawood University of Engineering and Technology (DUET) Karachi under the Ehsaas Undergraduate Scholarship program. He distributed cheques of scholarship among 145 engineering students. Addressing the gathering of deserving yet brilliant students, Governor Sindh said, “Ehsaas program is the largest social sector program in the history of Pakistan which has no precedent. Ehsaas Undergraduate Scholarship program for needy and promising students is an initiative that would help them to study in the field of their choice without any financial problem.” Taking to twitter, SAPM Dr. Sania Nishtar thanked the Governor for hosting engineers of tomorrow at the Governor House. She noted, “50,700 students have benefited from Ehsaas Undergraduate Scholarships in the year 2019/20 and the call for 2020/21 will open shortly.”
